Flight attendant fight delays flight for hours
Passengers on a United Airlines flight were forced to endure an hours-long delay due to a reported heated dispute between two flight attendants.
The flight departing Des Moines, Iowa to Chicago was delayed for four hours.
According to internal documents a ‘disagreement’ took place as the flight was preparing for departure.
“Crew availability flight attendant: disagreement on two of the flight attendants. Inflight duty manager] pulling all crew and will need to recrew flight,” the internal log stated.
Passengers had to be deplaned while a new crew was assembled.
The flight eventually almost four hours later.
The airline hasn’t disclosed the nature of the disagreement or if it became physical bur was deemed serious enough to seek a new flight attendant team.
