Flights resume after aircraft overshoots runway
Flights have resumed at Leeds Bradford International Airport after an aircraft overshot a runway.
All 171 passengers on board the LTE International A320 Airbus from Fuerteventura were evacuated safely after the incident at lunchtime yesterdayday.
The flight was shared between Thomas Cook, First Choice and MyTravel.
A spokesman said operations had resumed but warned of delays while a handful of flights were cancelled.
Air accident investigators are looking into the cause of the incident.
