Fly high with former Illinois governor for $14
Just after former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich was sentenced to 14 years in prison, Spirit Airlines announced $14 fares to…where else?…..Chicago.
Seven cities are offered in the deal.
The ad refers to a “seat selling” sale which is appropriate because the former governor was caught on tape trying to sell or trade the US Senate seat once held by President Barack Obama.
Spirit also notes that customers "don't have to live in the Big House" to buy fares.
