Flybe steps in as BA axes route
Flybe is offering discounted prices to passengers affected by British Airways withdrawing from the Birmingham-Belfast route.
BA Connect is to drop flights from August 21, prompting Flybe to offer passengers a special ‘rescue fare’ rate of £18.99 – 25% less than the BA lead-in. This applies for travel between August 21 and December 20 and is bookable until August 10.
Flybe is also adding a seventh daily flight on its route to Belfast City from Birmingham to give 8,250 seats a week.
