Flyglobespan to expand seat-broking business
Scottish low cost carrier flyglobespan is to expand its seat broking business.
The company has hired Gino Vella, whose 30 year industry career includes time at MyTravel.
He will offer seat allocations on the airline’s flying programme to Europe, Egypt and North America.
Vella will also support the commercial team with ad hoc charter business, which has seen the company win lease for Thomas Cook and the Ministry of Defence.
Globespan group chairman Tom Dalrymple said: “Continuing to develop and expand our commercial business is key to our strategy going forward and I very much look forward to the positive effect Gino will undoubtedly have on our business.”
