Flying Ryanair is cheaper when you take your butler
An amusing report in the Sun newspaper has claimed that it’s cheaper to fly with Ryanair if you take a butler with you.
The report, designed to highlight the "lunacy of airline luggage policy" is based on research by WhichAirline.com which shows it can cost less to buy a second ticket for your ‘man-servant’ than to check in your luggage.
It showed how a Sun reporter bought two tickets from Stansted to Maastricht, each costing £9.99 each way, cheaper than the £15 charge each way for checking-in a normal-sized (15kg) bag.
