Foreign Office warns passengers of possible strike at Helsinki Airport
The Foreign Office is advising passengers who require special assistance to contact their operator or airline ASAP if flying to Helsinki on Friday as a planned strike will affect services.
The 24-hour stoppage is due to start a 5am on Friday morning.
The airport said that if the strike goes ahead, it will affect the services for passengers requiring special assistance.
"Passengers who have need for assistance services are asked to contact their airline or travel agent well in advance," said the airport’s owner Finavia.
"Finavia would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may cause to passengers."
