Formula for hotel success: create home away from home

Tuesday, 23 Jun, 2005 0

The Playa del Sol Group (PDSG) in Mexico says their success is based on a simple philosophy: offer spacious, family-style suites at competitive prices in a variety of well-run properties with beach locations.

The chain’s hotels are on beachfront locations around Puerto Vallarta.

The group has three different properties in the Vallarta area and plans to add two more in Los Cabos and the Mayan Riviera.

Playa del Sol’s flagship property is an all-suite resort with 66 condo units. They include fully-equipped kitchens, cable TV and private terraces.

Another property, Playa del Sol Grand, is a five-star resort on Flamingo Beach that is landscaped and designed to reflect a South Pacific atmosphere.

“Our goal at Playa del Sol Resorts is to create the warmth of a private residence with personalized attentive service and spacious suites that become our guests’ home away from home,” said founder and CEO Ken Molinaro.
