Found: first Buffalo Wings
Hampton Inns says its new guide to “hidden landmarks” that have helped shape America’s identity is a first of its kind. The guide features information such as the site where outlaws Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow were ambushed; the fairground where Elvis Presley made his first public appearance; and the first place where Buffalo Wings were served. Travelers can search for historic hot spots by city, state or within more than a dozen categories that range from “sports” to “really different spots.” The site is available at www.hamptonlandmarks.com.
