Four Seasons opens in Canada
Four Seasons opened its first mountain resort in Canada, the 242-room Four Seasons Resort Whistler.
Each room of the resort at the base of Blackcomb Mountain in British Columbia has a gas fireplace and a private balcony. High-speed internet access is also available.
The new resort should help promote Whistler, once known predominately as a winter ski resort, into a year-round destination.
There are four championship golf courses in the area. Mountain biking is also popular. There’s also fishing, whitewater rafting and horseback riding are also common activities in the area.
The hotel is offering a third complimentary night following two-night stays. Rates begin at $395, Canadian.
