Fred. Holidays unveils Mekong land and cruise itinerary
Tailor-made specialist Fred. Holidays has introduced an all-new South East Asia itinerary to its recently-launched Fred. Discover programme.
The 13-night ‘Riches of the Mekong, Cambodia & Vietnam’ itinerary combines two nights in both Siem Reap and Ho Chi Minh City with a seven-night Mekong cruise on AmaDara, piced from £3,289 per person.
The journey begins with a two-night stay in Siem Reap, including a full-day tour to Angkor Archaeological Park to see the iconic temple complex at sunrise
From Siem Reap, guests transfer to the 124-guest AmaDara and embark on a Mekong cruise from Cambodia to Vietnam.
Highlights include Cambodia’s former royal capital, Oudong, and a Buddhist Blessing Ceremony at a monastery; Phnom Penh via tuk tuk; a traditional trishaw ride around the town of Tan Chau and a boat ride through the narrow channels of the Mekong to Evergreen Island.
Travellers will then spend two nights in vibrant Ho Chi Minh City visiting the Cu Chi Tunnels.
Two departures have been announced on 21 October 2022 and 27 January 2023.
