Fred. Holidays unveils product expansion and trade team hires
Tailor-made travel specialist Fred. Holidays revealed a product expansion and business restructure which will allow it to further support its trade partners and achieve ambitious growth targets.
It targets doubling the size of the business from pre-pandemic levels over the next 12 months, with further growth expected beyond that.
While focusing on how to successfully grow its business, Fred. Holidays will continue supporting its trade partners.
The company recently increased its tailor-made travel offering for land, rail and river.
It includes enhancements to the current offering through combined product delivery of Rail & Sail, themed departures and increased destination intensity.
These developments contribute towards a specialist focus on European travel, allowing for tailor-made package reservations to be created.
The new, expanded product, which is fully commissionable, includes The Venice Simplon-Orient-Express including three newly introduced routes this year, and a nine-day Tulip Serenade & The Floriade Expo 2022 itinerary, combining a Rhine cruise on Amadeus Silver II with a visit to the Floriade.
It is also offering an eight-day Jungfrau Railway & The Bernese Oberland itinerary and a seven-day Bergen & Flåm Railways tour between Bergen and Oslo.
The company has also bolstered its product and sales teams with key appointments.
“With the expansion of our tailor-made programme, the addition of some great people to the team and some more exciting developments to be revealed in due course, I feel confident that Fred. Holidays can achieve its growth objectives while continuing to support our loyal trade partners,” said Steve Williams, Fred. Holidays’ Managing Director.
The company’s agent portal, www.agentfred.co.uk offers downloadable social media material, posters and product flyers, all of which can be over-branded on request.
