Galileo/Focalpoint GDS access on iphone/ipad
Hello.
After following your publications for so long, I’m very happy to finally contribute and give something back.
I’ve come across an application in the Apple App Store called “Travelport Mobile Agent” that seems to be a tool to allow travel agents to access the Galileo GDS from a mobile device.
The application was published on the App Store on the 18thof this month and after some searches, I found nothing official from Travelport on the topic and that normally means, they will announce it soon.
It seems to be globally available so this will probably be major news since no other GDS offers such Agent Tool on a mobile device.
I already download it but a Galileo GDS SignOn is necessary to access it so I cannot test it.
You can see it at:
http://itunes.apple.com/app/travelport-mobile-agent/id447792568?mt=8
I though you may be interested to be the first to publish something about it.
Let me also take the chance to thank you guys for the amazing work and for giving so much to the community.
Keep up the good work.
Best regards.
Mirian
