Gang armed with axes rob Hays Travel shop
A gang armed with axes smashed their way into a travel agency in Westhoughton near Bolton and made off with cash.
Four men broke down the door of the Hays Travel shop in Market Street and forced terrified staff to hand over the money.
Greater Manchester Police confirmed it was called shortly before 5.10pm on Thursday to reports of a robbery.
Photographs in the Bolton News showed the shop with the front door boarded up.
