Garuda Indonesia launching daily Doha flights
Flag carrier Garuda Indonesia is launching nonstop daily flights to Doha, Qatar.
The Jakarta to Doha maiden flight begins on 4 April 2024 and reservations are now live.
The new daily Doha flights will be operated with Boeing B777-300 aircraft in a dual-class configuration.
It is supported by Qatar Airways, which is an airline codeshare partner of Garuda.
The new route allows customers of Garuda to book through tickets beyond Doha to Qatar Airways’ network of over 170 destinations.
It also gives Qatar Airways’ passengers more travel options to destinations in Indonesia.
Qatar Airways Group CEO, Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, said: “Qatar Airways welcomes Garuda’s launch of its daily Doha flight.”
“Indonesia is a country that has great potential and is one of our most important markets within the Qatar Airways global network.”
CEO of Garuda Indonesia, Irfan Setiaputra said the route will strengthen business, tourism, and cultural ties between Indonesia and Qatar.
Qatar Airways offers three daily flights to both Jakarta and Bali, and has recently launched three weekly flights to Medan.
