Gatorland Halloween event returning

Wednesday, 06 Aug, 2024 0

Gatorland, the ‘Alligator Capital of the World’ is bringing back the Gators, Ghosts and Goblins Halloween event for a sixth year.

The daytime, family-friendly event, which is included with park admission, takes place over three weekends in October, from October 12 through 27, 2024.

There is fun to be had at Swamp Ghost’s Monster Museum where Cyrus the Gravedigger will teach visitors all about the paranormal.

Visitors can encounter Gatorland’s own Florida Bigfoot, Skunk Ape, at the Cryptid Petting Zoo, then hop aboard the Cryptid Express to seek out Moth Man, Chupacabra, Jersey Devil and more.

Also, the pumpkin monsters are set to take over the brand-new Godwin’s Gourd farm.

There are also animal meet and greets, Halloween photo ops, and a Children’s Halloween Costume Parade.

Plus, there are fun shows, a live DJ, a variety of specialty vendors, games, candy giveaways and more.

“Everyone knows we just love Halloween time at Gatorland and our entire staff works incredibly hard to put on this fun event for all our guests,” said Mark McHugh, President and CEO of Gatorland.  “

“You simply won’t find another Halloween experience anything like ours.”

The daytime Halloween event is suitable for all-ages and runs from 10 am to 5 pm and guests are welcome to wear costumes as long as it’s not too scary.

A special area in the Gatorland Gift Shop will feature exclusive Gators, Ghosts and Goblins Halloween merchandise.

Other iconic experiences only at Gatorland include the Historic Gator Mouth, the Gator Jumparoo Show, Adventure Hour Giant Alligator Feeding, Screamin’ Gator Zipline over alligators and crocodiles and much more.
