Genting launches Asian focused river cruise brand
Genting Cruise Lines has announced the introduction of a new specialty business aimed at luring more Chinese travellers to European river cruising.
It announced Crystal International Asia which is in cooperation with Crystal River Cruises.
The new brand will have product offerings specifically targeting guests from China and across Asia aboard the Crystal Mozart.
It will have Asian inspired features and services for guests ‘without having to forgo the comforts of home.’
"With the Asian cruise market currently enjoying unprecedented growth, our more experienced cruisers are looking for new destinations and adventures outside of local waters," said Michael Goh, head of international sales for Genting Cruise Lines.
The new Asian-friendly product will launch on the Crystal Mozart from March 2020.
The vessel offers a variety of all-inclusive journeys on the Danube River which will include special Christmas Market cruises.
There will be dedicated English and Chinese speaking butlers and a menu of Asian and international dishes.
Shore experiences will be conducted by English and Chinese speaking tour guides.
