Germany ‘mega-strike’ decimates air. rail travel

Germany’s ‘mega strike’ is underway causing travel chaos with airport strikes and trains cancelled.
The mass strikes are resulting in Deutsche Bahn cancelling all its long-distance train journeys.
The company urged everyone to postpone travel plans today.
DB said most regional train services will also be scrapped.
Germanys big two airports Frankfurt and Munich will have no flights today.
Bremen, Dortmund, Hamburg and Stuttgart airports will also be closed to flights.
Düsseldorf Airport may have some flights out, but warned passengers to expect ‘serious disruption’ all day.
It is the same for Cologne/Bonn Airport.
Union Verdi is seeking a 10.5% pay rises for workers.
