Get smart: Chance for agents to win LA trip
Travel agents who sign up to Visit USA Online Training Modules before October 31 will go in the draw to win a trip for two to Los Angeles.
Those who sign up at http://visitusa.org.au/training and complete the modules will go into the draw for two economy class tickets to Los Angeles flying Fiji Airways, including eight nights’ accommodation in theme park capital Anaheim, Orange County, plus airport transfers and attractions.
The flexible-format Visit USA online training programme is designed to give agents greater understanding of each of the regions covered.
There are seven modules in total, including an introductory module on selling the USA and then a series of modules divided by geographic regions: the Pacific States, North-Eastern States, South-Western States, Mountain Regions, South-Eastern States and the Great Lakes and plains.
"By giving our agents these informative tools, knowledge and skills we can convert more enquiries into sales and promote the destination with much more confidence," said Geoffrey Hutton, president of the Visit USA Organisation Australia.
Fiji Airways has just released special fares to Honolulu and Los Angeles from Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane, valid for travel until May 31, 2014.
