Fifteen countries have been brought into a global alliance of travel management companies being established by Expedia’s business travel offshoot Egencia.
Services will be provided in Argentina, Hungary, Russia, Romania, United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Uruguay.
Egencia has established partnerships with ATH in Russia, Ibusz in Hungary, Action Travel & Events in Argentina and servicing Uruguay, Accent Travel in Romania, Orient Travel in United Arab Emirates, Global Travel Pte in Singapore, Lotus Tours in Hong Kong and Lion Travel in Taiwan.
As part of the global alliance, local TMCs have the opportunity to serve Egencia’s growing network of global clients and extend their reach.
Egencia president Rob Greyber said: “In the global economy, corporate travellers must be increasingly nimble and able to conduct business anywhere.
“Our global alliance positions Egencia to deliver on those needs and support our clients with global and local market expertise.”
