Gold Medal offers Covid info tool for agents
Gold Medal has debuted a new tool live on its website to assist travel agents with clients as they navigate the new traffic light system.
The tool utilises the platform developed by Sherpa.com which aggregates millions of data points from thousands of sources, including governments, airlines, airports, tourism boards, public forums and media outlets all over the world.
It is consolidated into a simple user interface and will enable agents to quickly and easily search for the current Covid-19 testing and quarantine rules for both outgoing and return routes:
Gold Medal says it is the first B2B operator to offer this functionality and service to agents. The tool is being promoted through its social channels and email communications to agents.
Kerry Gallagher, Marketing Director, said: "We want to support agents in helping them cut through the confusion and give clear, sound advice to their clients. We’re delighted to be able to make this tool available to them and take some of that potential stress away."
