Guam and Saipan flights on the radar for Hong Kong Express

Monday, 09 Mar, 2016 0
Hong Kong Express Airways has filed an application with the US Department of Transportation for approval to start flights to the US territories of Guam and Saipan.

According to the filing, HK Express plans to start flying later this year with two nonstop flights a week likely using Airbus A320 aircraft.

The application also outlines a request to operate charter flights between Hong Kong and the US.

A statement from Andrew Cowen, CEO of HK Express, said fares would be priced competitively to enable more people to ‘fall in love’ with Saipan and Guam.

HK Express operates low cost international services to Japan, Korea, mainland China, and several destinations in Southeast Asia.

The airline also plans expanding to Myanmar and Luang Prabang, Laos.
