Hawaiian Airlines says farewell to last Boeing 767

After 17 years of stellar service, Hawaiian Airlines has bid a fond farewell to its last Boeing 767 wide body jet. Hawaiian’s Boeing 767s served the U.S. mainland and was used to launch several nonstop transpacific routes to Asia and Australia throughout the 2000s. The airplane enabled Hawaiian to efficiently serve its unique routes and achieve impressive growth over the years,” said Randy Tinseth, Boeing’s commercial marketing VP. Hawaiian had been phasing out the 767 since deploying the Airbus A330 and A321neo. The airline begins taking delivery of Boeing 787 Dreamliners in 2021.
