Hilton Sydney has once again proved its industry leading position by winning all three of the hotel’s nominated categories in the National Australian Hotels Association (AHA) Awards 2006.

The National AHA Awards are the Oscars of the hospitality industry and designed to celebrate excellence in service, dining and marketing and Hilton Sydney was the proud recipient of no less than three major awards:

Best Hotel Restaurant – glass;

Best Bar Presentation and Service – Zeta; and

Best Re-developed Hotel.

Mike Nalborczyk, Hotel Manager Hilton Sydney, said “To win three National AHA Awards against such strong competition is an unprecedented result for the industry and a magnificent achievement for Hilton Sydney.”

During the awards, Mr. Nalborczyk took the opportunity to recognise “the significant contribution of all those involved to get such an extraordinary project off the ground,” adding  “Winning 12 leading industry awards over 2006 has been an amazing and well deserved achievement for all of the Hilton Sydney team and friends of the hotel.”   “The Hilton Sydney team is made up of thought leaders who are committed to setting the standard for the industry in Australia and worldwide. The biggest winners are still our customers who have been able to enjoy the new hotel and its unique service offering.”

Following a $200 million investment, Hilton Sydney underwent a dramatic rooftop to basement reconstruction to produce a complete re-think on hotel form and function and over the past few weeks, Hilton Sydney has continued to lead the competitive hotel industry winning the following prestigious awards:-
