Holland America drops pre-cruise testing on some sailings
Holland America Line has lifted testing requirements on some sailings aboard HAL Rotterdam.
Guests on cruises departing July 10, July 17 and July 24 can skip pre-cruise tests.
“We are adjusting our policies to align with those of the countries we visit,” HAL told travel advisors.
All three itineraries depart from Amsterdam calling, at ports in Norway.
Proof of vaccination is still required.
“Our protocols are designed to ensure a relaxing and memorable vacation experience while maximizing the health and safety of our guests and crew,” HAL said.
Holland America’s announcement comes after a similar one from P&O Cruises.
Sister brand, UK-based P&O Cruises recently announced a similar exemption for selected cruises to Norway on the Iona ship.
