Luxury UK hotel groups Hotel du Vin and Malmaison have changed hands for £495 million.
Vector Hospitality, a real estate investment trust specialising in hotels, has acquired the 17 hotels from Marylebone Warwick Balfour.
The two brands will join 71 properties owned by Vector, including Hilton, Marriott and Thistle, under sale and leaseback arrangements.
Vector is also seeking a London Stock Exchange listing to raise £2 billion. Its properties are worth £2.6 billion and cover more than 10,700 rooms.
Former Hilton chief Sir David Michels and MWB chief executive Richard Balfour-Lynn are behind the group.
