Hotelbeds expands in Latin America with Rappi Travel partnership
Major bedbank Hotelbeds is expanding its footprint across Latin America after inking a partnership with the regions’s first ‘superApp.’
It is teaming up with Rappi and will supply inventory for Rappi Travel, which the company recently announced the launch of.
Hotelbeds’ 180,000 hotel properties will be accessible to Rappi users across the region, including Brazil, Colombia, and Mexico.
It will also be offered on corporate travel service Travel 4Business to users in Argentina, Peru, Chile, Uruguay, Ecuador, and Costa Rica in 2021.
Hotelbeds’ portfolio spans 140 countries worldwide.
"This agreement with Rappi is an important step in further strengthening our strategic position in Latin America via access to millions of users in the region," said Leon Herce, Global Sales Director at Hotelbeds.
Hotelbeds connects more than 60,000 B2B travel buyers such as tour operators, retail travel agents, airlines, and loyalty schemes.
