Hurtigruten names new Americas sales VP
Expedition cruise operator Hurtigruten has named industry veteran Christine Stevens as vice president of sales for the Americas
Stevens is based in the Seattle regional HQ and brings 30 years’ experience in the cruise industry.
She will head the sales organization, including field sales and national accounts.
She is tasked with driving additional revenue growth, lead and manage the sales team, and represent Hurtigruten at national and regional trade events.
"Christine Stevens is a seasoned sales leader who will serve on our Americas management team with a focus on increasing our domestic foothold in the North American market," said Hurtigruten Americas President, William Harber.
Stevens kicked off her career as a district sales manager for Carnival Cruise Line back in 1987 and most recently served as senior director of field sales for Holland America Line.
Further bolstering the sales team, Hurtigruten welcomes Mimma Waters as Northwest sales director and Kelli Ann Mills as Northeast sales director.
Waters has worked for 20 years in the cruise industry and was most recently a business development director at Carnival Cruise Line.
Mills is a travel sales professional who spent 16 years owning her own agency.
