Hyatt Hotels appoints new global communications VP
Hyatt Hotels Corporation has named Kathy Krenger as new global communications VP.
Krenger assumes the position from May 15 and will be responsible for all communications strategy and media relations, branding and internal communications.
She spent a decade at leading agency Edelman working with leading consumer brands.
It marks a return to Hyatt for Krenger. She spent three years as a public relations assistant manager in Hyatt’s corporate HQ early in her career.
"It is clear to us that Kathy possesses the leadership, entrepreneurial thinking and global perspective required to elevate communications and build a state-of-the-art function within Hyatt," said Maryam Banikarim, global chief marketing officer.
"Kathy’s impressive depth of expertise will be critical in engaging our more than 110,000 colleagues and cultivating meaningful relationships with our targeted high-end travelers worldwide."
