Hyatt signs new Maldives resort
Hyatt Hotels Corporation has inked a deal to introduce a new Maldives resort.
Hyatt Regency Samarafushi Maldives will mark Hyatt Regency’s brand entry into the Maldives.
Located in the North Male Atoll, the new all-villa resort is slated to open in late 2027.
It will join Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa and Alila Kothaifaru Maldives as the third Hyatt Maldives resort.
The management agreement was signed with SingHaiyi.
“We’re thrilled to collaborate with SingHaiyi to invite travellers to one of world’s most desirable resort destinations,” said David Udell, group president, Asia Pacific, Hyatt.
It is located only 25 minutes away from Valena International Airport in Malé by speedboat.
North Male Atoll is close to the capital and known for its proximity to popular diving and snorkeling sites.
The Maldives resort spans 10 hectares and will feature 130 beachfront, treetop, and overwater villas, all with a private pool.
There will be a variety of culinary experiences at a sunset bar, a beach club, a Japanese specialty restaurant, and an all-day-dining concept.
It will house a dedicated kid’s club, a marine and diving centre, a fitness pavilion, a yoga deck, and a spa.
