Iberia boosts Mexico network with new Monterrey flights
Iberia is strengthening its network to Mexico with new Monterrey flights from Madrid.
The new Mexico route takes off on 2 June 2026.
This route will operate three times a week, on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays and operated on Airbus A330-200 aircraft.
It has capacity for 288 passengers, in Business and Economy cabins.
“We are reinforcing our commitment to such an important and strategic market as Mexico. This, combined with the three daily flights we operate to Mexico City, will allow us to offer more than 800,000 seats connecting both countries,” said María Jesús López Solás, Director of Sales, Customers, Network and Alliances at Iberia.
This seat capacity is currently unmatched by any other market in Latin America in the airline’s network.
Iberia currently connects Mexico City with Madrid on three daily flights.
The new summer service is set to continue operating through the winter. The schedule to be announced soon.
