Iberia pilots to strike next week
Iberia pilots plan to strike on Monday and Wednesday next week.
Partner British Airways says its flights to and from Spain will not be impacted, nor flights operated by Air Nostrum.
But it said passengers who are booked to travel on a BA service operated by Iberia, an Iberia prime flight or a BA flight to or from Madrid on the 9 or 11 January can change travel dates to an alternative, up to 24 March 2012, or claim a full refund.
Iberia pilots are striking over a dispute over parent company International Airlines Group’s plans to create a new Spanish no-frills airline.
The pilots have already staged walk-outs during December in protest against the plans.
