Imaginative Travel releases new Adventure Book

Wednesday, 03 Dec, 2009 0

Imaginative Travel says its new offerings are the most comprehensive ever with 75 countries and 289 tours, including such exotic ventures as taking the Trans-Mongolian railway to their remote ‘ger camp’ in the Gobi Desert and then trekking through the remote steppes accompanied by yaks.

New destinations include Colombia, Israel, Lebanon and Burkina Faso.

Ever-popular trips include adventures to Egypt, Thailand and India.

The 20-year-old company has a carbon offset included in most trips.

It also has two tour styles — Travelers and Adventurer. Traveler tours offer “destinations in comfort,” with quality hotels and some arrival transfers. Adventurer tours offer more adventure with free time to explore.

“Traveler specializes in small group adventure travel for those in search of discovery and cultural tours, walking and trekking trips, wildlife and safaris, polar journeys and family adventures,” the company says.
