Travel agents will play a big role in re-building tourism to Italy following the pandemic, according to Maria Elena Rossi of the Italian National Tourist Board. She said that in ‘the new normal’ clients will require much more care, which agents are able to offer.
Speaking to TravelMole’s Graham McKenzie, Maria said Italian destinations, including its ski resorts, have invested in new protocols to keep clients safe, but it will be agents who need to convey this message to their clients.
