Independent travel agents increase income from London bookings
A service to help independent travel agents increase their income from people travelling to London has been launched.
The EPok London Pack, from epok.com, is an add-on product that agents can offer to customers at the time of the initial sale or at a later date.
The Pack gives London tourists 2 for 1 offers at restaurants, money off vouchers, half-price drinks at bars and various other useful items to make a tourists stay in London cheaper.
“To help agents get sales, we’re promising that they’ll have the cheapest Packs available. Customers will have to use an independent agent if they want to get the Pack at the lowest price,” said Ron Rodney, co-founder of EPok.com.
Commission payments are handled and paid out by affiliate network, ShareASale, so agents will have to join the network as an affiliate to be part of the EPok programme.
London is one of the top destination cities in the world. Yet there are only a few add-on opportunities for independent agents to make money and many of those can be found cheaper at larger OTA’s.
The EPok idea of giving independent agents a better deal than their larger competitors is a welcome change.
