India move for river cruise company
Fred.River Cruises has been appointed as preferred supplier for Indian-based operator Far Horizon Tours, part of Adventure Resorts and Cruises.
Steve Williams, managing director for the river cruise company, said the partnership was a perfect addition.
"At Fred. we have access to a wide network of trade partners and homeworkers who have the perfect demographic and client base to sell this product to," he said.
"Recent improvements made to Indian visa applications, as well as in the country’s infrastructure, make India an extremely attractive proposition and currently represents a tremendous opportunity for growth."
He said Far Horizons offers a variety of unique holiday experiences including cruising the Brahmaputra river on board the MV Mahabaahu and a Kerala Backwaters cruise along with Sri Lanka.
"We have a dedicated team of long standing river cruise professionals who are well travelled, know and love the product and are ready to take enquiries," added Williams.
Fred.River Cruises will be launching a dedicated ‘Far Horizons of India’ brochure at the end of this month.
