Industry failures prompts rise in delegates for Elite Conference
Elite Travel Group claims more member companies have signed up for its conference next month following the recent spate of industry failures.
Commercial manager Julie Franklin said: “Our members realise that the industry needs to pull together even more so now.â€
The conference is being held in Lanzarote on October 18 and 19 at the Grand Melia Salinas Hotel, Costa Teguise.
Around 30 people had to rebook their flights after the collapse of XL Leisure Group.
“The agenda was always set to address the ‘credit crunch’ and one of our speakers Robert Ashton is going to be running a boot camp session to help members beat the slow down,†added Franklin.
“Each member is independent, but to network and build relationships with each other and suppliers during the Talkzone session helps with ideas and also gives reassurance that they are certainly not on their own.â€
