Inghams moves into winter sun
Ski and lakes and mountains operator Inghams has expanded into the winter sun sector.
The new programme consists of Sicily, Morocco and Madeira. It goes on sale from October 29.
The move follows market research which found that the company is a strong and trusted brand which is recognised in the walking market in the summer as well as being an independent ski and villas specialist operator.
Inghams found that existing customers regularly buy walking holidays to European destinations in the winter.
CEO Litsa Constantinou said: “After a pretty wet British summer we are confident that Inghams clients are looking to get some sun back into their lives during the winter.
“A growing number of British visitors are discovering winter walking, in sunny mountainous destinations as a refreshing, affordable and increasingly fashionable alternative to rambling in the UK.â€
Prices start at £451 per person for even nights at the 3* Hotel Myriem in Marrakech on half board, including flights from Gatwick and transfers.
