Island latest line to show World Cup
Island Cruises has joined P&O Cruises and Norwegian Cruise Line in organising to screen the World Cup on its ships this summer.
Matches from the tournament in Germany will be screened on new ship Island Star and Island Escape.
The England team’s first round matches against Paraguay, Trinidad & Togabo and Sweden will be screened plus the second round match if it qualifies. All quarter finals, semi-finals, third place play-off and the final on July 9 will be availabel to passengers to view.
Island has cut prices on seven-night Mediterranean fly-cruises to coincide with the World Cup, with a June 20 departure on Island Escape reduced by £250 to £649 and Island Star’s June 17 sailing down £320 to £679.
