Children’s TV favourite Basil Brush will join Ocean Village this summer to perform an exclusive, fun family show on board.
Performances will be on the original Ocean Village ship throughout the summer holidays starting in July.
The puppet joins two other family favourites, Bagpuss and Paddington Bear, on board Ocean Village.
Basil Brush will perform his live show on all ‘Emperors and Espresso’ fly-cruises from July 7 until September 1.
The seven-night itinerary departs from Palma and calls at Tunis, Naples, Florence and Pisa, Monte Carlo and Ajaccio in Corsica.
The cruise line’s head of marketing communications Gill Haynes said: “We think parents will be as amused as their children to find Basil on board – his shows make great family entertainment and reach across the generations.
“Ocean Village is delighted to welcome yet another member of children’s TV royalty to our entertainment line-up on board.
“This trio of retro children’s icons is sure to charm the kids and send parents hurtling down memory lane.”
