Italy strikes to hit easyJet flights tomorrow
EasyJet is warning passengers of disruption tomorrow (Wednesday) due to industrial action by its Italian cabin crew.
It says flights to and from all Italian airports will be affected and apologised for any inconvenience.
"We are doing everything possible to minimise the impact to our customers, however we have had to proactively cancel a number of flights to and from Italy," it said.
"All customers on the affected flights will be informed by SMS and email, with up to date information on this page of easyJet.com and our easyJet Flight Tracker. All our customers on cancelled flights are offered a free of charge transfer to a new flight or a full refund."
Meanwhile the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office is warning that nationwide strike action across Italy may cause disruption to air, rail and sea travel during October and November.
It advised travellers to check the Italian Ministry of Transport website and check with their transport provider or travel company for more information.
