JacTravel launches new agent website
JacTravel has launched a new website for travel agents – www.totalstay.com – with access to more than 100,000 hotels worldwide.
The new website, which will feature JacHotels and Exclusively HOTELS, has been created a year after the merger of JacTravel and TotalStayGroup.
Angela Skelly, JacTravel senior vice president global sales & commercial development, said: "The launch of totalstay gives us a great platform to continue our international growth and development.
"As a sales force we’re really looking forward to showcasing the new website to our global community of travel agent clients."
The site has been trialled by Uniglobe Travel.
Patrick Hooft, vice president and director of operations (Uniglobe British Isles), said: "We found the totalstay website extremely easy to use and very competitive on price. The new deals page has a variety of accommodation at exceptional rates."
In addition to the portfolio of accommodation, the new site has the ability to search by well-known landmarks, as well as by name and location.
It also allows online booking for up to 19 adults, transactions in 14 currencies and languages and last minute and same-day availability.
JacTravel was awarded the Queen’s Enterprise Award for international trade last week for its export growth. Overseas sales have nearly tripled in the six years to 2015, rising to over 80% of the business.
Company figures show net profits rose from £2 million in 2009 to £7 million in 2013 and in 2014.
