Jakarta attackers had ISIS links, police say

Indonesian authorities say they have identified all attackers involved in Thursday’s bombings and gunfight in central Jakarta and arrested a further three men suspected of helping plan the attacks.
"We have identified all attackers and we can say that the attackers were affiliated with the ISIS group," national police spokesman Anton Charilyan told the media.
"ISIS is behind this attack definitely," added Jakarta police chief Tito Karnavian.
Police also arrested three men in dawn raids at homes in the Jakarta area.
Downtown Jakarta was hit by a series of suicide bombings and gun attacks which left seven people dead.
Five were identified as attackers including three suicide bombers and two civilians including a Canadian national.
More than a dozen people were injured including several foreign nationals.
An orchestrated attack began when three suicide bombers almost simultaneously detonated explosives near a Starbucks cafe while a group of gunmen attacked a police post nearby with gunfire and grenades.
It was the first terror attacks in the city for six years.
Two Jakarta hotels were hit in 2009 which killed seven people, while the Indonesian island of Bali was targeted in 2002, and again in 2005 with more than 200 people killed including dozens of Australian tourists.
