Jet2 confirms Egypt return
Jet2 will restart flights to Egypt in 2027, connecting Sharm El Sheikh and Hurghada with multiple UK airports.
The airline last flew to Egypt in 2011.
Jet2 will initially fly from Birmingham, Edinburgh, Manchester, London Stansted and Glasgow.
Jet2 will offer over 169,000 seats over the first year of operations.
Weekly Sharm El Sheikh flights will be served from Birmingham, Edinburgh, Manchester and Stansted.
The relaunch announcement comes after talks with the Egypt tourism ministry.
The airline will announce the launch draw and flight schedules soon.
