Jet2 to add 10th aircraft at Stansted
Jet2 is to add a 10th aircraft to its Stansted fleet in July, allowing it to add 50,000 extra seats for this summer.
It will also allow it to add 40,000 seats for the 2018/19 winter season, including a new route to Turin.
In total, Jet2 and its sister tour operation, Jet2holidays, will fly to 33 sun and city destinations from London Stansted this summer.
The additional aircraft will mean more frequencies to Lanzarote, Tenerife, Majorca, Menorca, Reus, Faro, Corfu, Zante, Dalaman and Antalya.
For winter there will be flights to 26 destinations, including the weekly Saturday service to Turin.
Winter frequencies will also be increased to Madeira, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Antalya and Faro.
Jet2 launched flights from London Stansted just over a year ago.
