JetBlue launching new Guadeloupe route
JetBlue has announced a new route linking New York with the French Caribbean.
Starting next February, the carrier will start flying three times a week from New York JFK to Guadeloupe.
It operates Saturdays, Mondays and Wednesdays to the Pointe-à-Pitre International Airport using Airbus 320 aircraft.
"We can’t wait to introduce our JetBlue customers to this unique corner of the Caribbean. As the only airline to serve Guadeloupe from the northeastern United States, JetBlue adds yet another unique destination," said Andrea Lusso, director of route planning at JetBlue.
To mark the new route announcement, JetBlue is offering introductory, one-way fares of $147, available to book now.
"JetBlue’s new air service to Guadeloupe was highly anticipated by New Yorkers and Guadeloupeans," said Ary Chalus, president of the Guadeloupe Islands Tourist Board.
