Jetstar Group inks interline agreement with Hawaiian Airlines
The Jetstar Group recently inked an interline agreement with Hawaiian Airlines allowing the respective carriers to market more destinations in Japan, New Zealand and the US.
Kiwis departing from Christchurch, Dunedin, Napier, Nelson , New Plymouth, Palmerston North, Queensland, and Wellington via Auckland to Honolulu can connect to the US mainland via Hawaiian Airlines services.
The interline agreement also allows Jetstar passengers in Japan to connect to Hawaiian’s Tokyo, Osaka, or Sapporo flights to Hawaii from a number of connecting domestic services including Fukuoka, Kagoshima, Kumamoto and Okinawa.
Conversely westbound Hawaiian passengers arriving in New Zealand or Japan will have access to connecting onward services across the Jetstar network in both countries.
Additionally, Hawaiian Airlines said it plans to expand the number of flights linking Auckland and Honolulu from March 21 this year to five flights a week, up from the current three weekly services.
