Jetstar launches Lombok services

Jetstar will begin flying between Perth and the Indonesian island of Lombok from September 24, with four flights per week, subject to regulatory approval.

The new route will be the first non-stop service from Australia to Lombok.

The new service will be operated by an Airbus A320, flying on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday with a flight time of around three hours and 40 minutes.

Jetstar’s lead-in fare for the route starts at A$179 although special launch fares are available over the next few days, valid for travel from October 15 to December 3, 2013, and from February 4 to March 27, 2014.
