Jonathan Tisch returns as Loews Hotels CEO

Monday, 19 Oct, 2016 0
Chairman Jonathan Tisch is returning to the helm as CEO of Loews Hotels & Resorts following the sudden resignation of Kirk Kinsell.

Kinsell cited ‘personal reasons’ and the change takes effect immediately.

Tisch himself stepped down as Loews Hotels’ CEO four years ago after more than a decade in charge.

Tisch will remain chairman of Loews Hotels and co-chairman of Loews Corporation.

"Loews Hotels has never been stronger. During Kirk’s tenure as CEO, there have been many positive changes at Loews Hotels, and we fully intend to build on that success.  We’ve added top talent to our already strong bench, expanded our network of hotels, and continued to improve our operations and profitability," Tisch said.

Kinsell spent two years as chief executive, arriving from Intercontinental Hotels Group where he served as president of the Americas.
