Kenya Airways is to introduce a new direct weekly service to Mombasa from London, beginning on December 9.

The Friday overnight service will depart Heathrow at 7pm, arriving in Nairobi at 6.30am for a 75-minute stopover before continuing to Mombasa, arriving at 8.45am.

The return flight departs at 9.45am, arriving in London at 4pm.

Kenya Airways UK country manager David Granville said the move follows strong demand from customers connecting to Mombasa through the Kenyan capital.

“We are keen to offer customers the choice of a direct flight where they can relax onboard the Boeing 777 all the way to the coast after a brief stop in Nairobi.
